Do your trailers come with a warranty?

Yes, all trailers for sale at Machinery Direct come with our standard 12 months warranty and guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Warranties will not apply due to the following: accidents, fair wear & tear, misuse, neglect, abuse, storm damage, acts of Nature, or unauthorised repairs made or attempted.

Do I need a special license to drive with your trailers?

While the laws regarding towing can vary between state to state, generally speaking a license is not required to tow one of our Ozzi trailers. There are, however, restrictions and uniform regulations regarding maximum towing weights and the requirement for trailers to be roadworthy and registered.

How much weight can your trailers hold?

Can my car tow a trailer?

Yes, but only if the combined weight of the trailer does not exceed your Vehicle’s Towing Capacity which is the manufacturers specification on the weight that your vehicle is designed to tow.

Do trailers require maintenance?

Yes, regular trailer maintenance is essential to ensuring the longevity of your trailer and to ensure safe road use. The great news is that many of the routine maintenance tasks like lubricating moving parts and checking tire pressure can be done at home with a bit of know-how.

Is it hard to drive a vehicle when a trailer is attached?

Generally speaking, as long as you do not exceed the maximum towing weights of your vehicle you shouldn’t find it hard to go up hills, brake or do most other things you would normally do while driving.
